Tasks analysis examines and records the ways people perform jobs. The collected data provides job related insights. For each task, a certain process occurs to reach a goal or result. Conducting task analysis focuses on observable steps and recording these with tools or equipment needed, movement, use of hands, environment and any task specific information. Conducting the analysis typically works from top to bottom, with tasks, subtasks and steps.

    Record general information for the specific task. Include identifiable entries like date, task record number, job location, your name and worker's name when applicable.

How to Perform a Chandelle

A Chandelle is a steep climbing turn in an aircraft. It is designed to not only gain altitude but also alter direction. The change of direction can vary from 90 to 180 degrees. A pilot does not have to tolerate a significant amount of g forces to complete the maneuver. It is a maneuver also designed to conserve energy. Read on to learn more.

Instructions

    1

    As per FAA regulations, make sure you have at least 1,500 feet of altitude.

    2

    Check for traffic above and behind you. Flaps and landing gear should be up.

    3

    Adjust speed such that it does not exceed manufacturer's maximum--remembering that max speed changes with weight.

    4

    Pick a reference line that is parallel to the wind. Upon crossing that line, begin the Chandelle. Bank into the wind to initiate the turn. Try to attain a 30 degree bank but do not exceed 30 degrees.

    5

    Begin the climbing maneuver by applying back elevator pressure. If you are flying a plane with a fixed pitch propeller, apply full power. With a constant speed propeller, set for take off or climb RPM and increase MP to takeoff or climb.

    When parallel to your reference line--heading in the opposite direction--begin rolling out of your bank. Roll out at a constant rate. Maintain a constant pitch, using your small back elevator as needed.

    Raise your right wing, drop your right aileron--as yaw increases apply left rudder as needed. Level your wings, Drop your nose. Adjust speed as needed to return to cruise speed. (This is for a right Chandelle).

How to Make Keepsake Snow Globes for Winter Weddings

Keepsake snow globes are relatively easy to make and an excellent way to personalize your winter wedding. Use them as table centerpieces, guest favors or both. You can individualize the globes by using different waterproof ornaments or figures in each.

Instructions

    Attach your figurine to the inside of the jar lid using florist clay or silicone sealant. If your wedding has a particular theme, such as birds, include it in your snow globes. Another option is to use small bride and groom figurines or cake toppers. Make sure any objects you use will not dissolve in the water.

    Fill the jar with distilled water to within inch of the top. Add several drops of glycerin, baby oil or mineral oil to keep the snow suspended and floating.

    3

    Sprinkle glitter or confetti into the water. Start with approximately a teaspoon and increase the amount according to the size of your jar. Crush egg shells with a rolling pin into fine particles to use instead of or in addition to glitter.

    Add other objects to create dramatic effects. For example, use a drop of colored oil or food coloring in your wedding color scheme to create a swirling pattern. You can also combine different glitter colors, or inexpensive plastic rings to simulate wedding bands.

    Use the sealant to line the inside of the lid. Screw the lid onto the jar and apply a layer of sealant around the rim of the lid to seal it shut. Wipe away any excess glue or water.

    Dry the snow globe overnight with the lid side up. Once dry, decorate the lid with your choice of acrylic paint, ribbons or decorative rope.

Unlike other farm crops, regulated by standards and grades, hay is grown and sold on an individual basis. Contact potential buyers and markets before you harvest in order to sell your hay while it is fresh.

How to Use Fimo Clay

Fimo clay is a brand of polymer clay used by hobbyists and artists to create jewelry, decorative objects, sculptures, dollmaking and other projects. It's also a good medium for children's crafts. Use Fimo clay in molds or work it with your hands and sculpting tools. Fimo is available in a range of colors and textures.

Instructions

    Knead the Fimo clay for several minutes before you use it. Roll and squash it in your hands until it's warm and workable. Use a food processor to work the clay or roll clay with a rolling pin or pasta machine.

    Put down a piece of plexiglass or waxed paper to provide a non-stick surface for the clay.

    Press a flattened piece of clay between sheets of white paper if it's too soft. Leave it overnight. If clay is too hard, apply a clay softener.

    Mix different colors of clay together to make new ones. To make light colors, use 1 part color to 8 parts of white.

    Apply metallic or pearlized powders to clay before baking. The finishes look best on black or dark colored clay. Pearlescent powder on white clay gives a pearl finish.

How to Maintain Eaves And Gutters

If you let water, leaves and other debris sit in your eaves and gutters, they can cause damage to your roof, such as rot and decay. In addition, dirty and cluttered eaves and gutters have the ability to make a house look sloppy. Therefore, it is very important that you keep them clean and maintain them.

    Clean your gutters at least twice per year, or more if you have many trees that drop leaves on your house. Get up on the roof safely, when it is dry. Clear out the debris with either your hand or a special gutter scoop.

    Look for solidified dirt, and if there is any, wet it so that it will loosen. Then, scrape it free. Run water into the gutters and check to see if it drains out of the gutters. If not, then you probably need to unclog your gutters.

    Try to unclog the gutters by spraying a stream of water down them. If this doesn't work, try to push the clog through with a plumber's snake. You may also be able to draw out some of the debris from the top or the bottom with a coat hanger.

    Run more water on the eaves and down the gutters and check for any leaks. If you find any, repair them with gutter repair caulking. Also, look for any broken straps, holes or corrosion. If you find any, repair them as soon as possible.

    Cover the openings to the top of the downspouts with wire mesh so that the gutters clog up again. You will have to get on the roof to clear this area often, however.

    You also need to clean your eaves every year. You can clean them by spraying them down with a pressure washer. Get on a ladder and check for any rotting wood, or cracks that could allow moisture or bugs to enter. If there are any cracks, you need to fill them in with a good quality acrylic latex caulk.

    Paint your eaves at least every five years to help maintain them and make them look great. Your eaves will look like new, and the layer of paint will help protect then. Cover water spots and stains with a latex primer. Allow it to dry and follow up with an exterior latex paint.

A dream board, also known as a vision board, is a way of displaying and reminding yourself of your goals. Visual representations often invoke more emotion than simply writing down or speaking your aspirations aloud. The process of creating a dream board is also what makes it special; spend time thinking about what your board should contain and how you would like it represented. When your board is finished, place it in a spot where you will see it on a daily basis, and spend time vocalizing the mantra you write on it.
