How to Delete Words From MP3 to Create Karaoke

Deleting vocal tracks from previously recorded MP3 to create your cool Karaoke music is fun and easy to do. You can simply do a search for an instrumental version of the music you like, download a program that will digitally remove the music for you or just follow a few steps do it yourself.

Instructions

    1

Download an audio editing program like "Audacity" which is a great program and also free. If you want to export your project to an MP3, then you have to also download the "LAME MP3 encoder" from the Audacity site.

    2

Import the MP3 of your selected music as a "New Project," and then click the arrow next to the track title (the title of your music) and select the "Split Stereo Track" option. Then click the lower track or right channel, and then select the "Invert" button from the "Effects" menu.

    3

Change the track to "Mono" from the "Track Menus" to remove the vocals from your MP3, and then listen to it to see how it sounds. If it sounds good to you, then export it to an MP3 to finish.
